Park Avenue UMC offers two opportunities and styles of worship:
Our 8:45 am service is a praise and worship format with a casual atmosphere while maintaining the true essence of worship. The music is a mix of contemporary and gospel with piano and guitar instrumentation.
Our 11:00 am service is a blend of traditional and praise & worship style. The music is a mix of traditional hymns, gospel and contemporary music with piano/organ, guitar and prerecorded music accompaniment. Special music is provided by our chancel choir.
We celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion (The Lord's Supper) on the first Sunday of each month. All are welcome to participate in this sacrament.
Nursery
A nursery, which is staffed by church volunteers, is provided for infants and toddlers up to 3 years old at both the 8:45 am and 11:00 am worship services.
